Working Incident Across From Firehouse

On September 16, 2020 at 1:20 a.m. Company 2 was called to a large working brush fire, across the street from our temporary firehouse along Route 4, near the Radio Shack.

Units arrived and found a section of land engulfed in flames at the top of a longer driveway. It was later determined the fire was a dilapidated structure which had been recently demolished by contractors clearing the area for site development.

Units from Company 2 and 6 operated on the scene for several hours to bring the fire under control. No injuries reported. The cause has not been determined.
