Volunteers for the Calvert County Toys for Tots program said they delivered toys to over 300 families this year (more than 700 kids in Calvert County alone). The Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department was honored to be an official stop for this important effort this past holiday season.
We cannot thank our own volunteers enough as well, especially Kenny Hall (through his business #HallHealthyLiving) who made a large donation to the boxes. Thank you to the members who helped him shop too (Theresa Bowen and Vice President Brian Ficke).
We are also so grateful to folks in our community, like little Nova and her mom (pictured), who brought in donations.
The toy challenge between the stations was a lot fun and congratulations to our neighbors at Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department for winning this year. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a very Merry Christmas.
