
Two-Alarm Fire In Anne Arundel County, Engine 21 Responds
On July 26, 2019 just before 9 p.m. Company 2 transferred to station 42 in Anne Arundel County to help fill in while units were on a working fire. Firefighters were battling a large working farmhouse fire in the 5500 block of Greenock Road in Lothian, Md.
Engine 21 accepted the request and was eventually called to the scene to help fill the second alarm.
Firefighters from surrounding counties, including Prince George’s, Annapolis City and Calvert, were all working to help control the blaze.
Some firefighters were injured in the process and transported with non-life threatening injuries. The cause is being investigated by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office.
