On Sunday, August 8, 2021, around 7:42 p.m. Tower 2 was called to a scene in Hughesville, Md. for a working house fire.

The crew responded to the 16200 block of Prince Frederick Road to assist with the call in nearby Charles County as the first due truck.

While on the scene, crews laddered the home and assisted with overhaul.

An additional engine crew was sent to Hughesville to fill in while their volunteers were at the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
