On April, 2018, Tower 2 was alerted as the second due truck to the 28100 Block of Woodburn Hills Road in Mechanicsville (St. Mary’s County) for a house fire.

First arriving companies went on the scene to find a 2-story single family home with fire throughout the structure. Tower 2 arrived (after the 20 mile response) and assumed RIT responsibilities.

Due to water supply issues command requested additional Tankers. Tanker 2 from our station responded. The fire ultimatley was brought under control using master stream.

Tower 2 operated at the fire for 2 hours before making the long trip back home.
