On May 11, 2022, just after 12:00 p.m., the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department (PFVFD) was alerted to the 600 block of Solomons Island Road (Fox Run Shopping Center) for a vehicle into the building and one patient reported unconscious.

The event was watched closely by students at Calvert High School, in Prince Frederick, Md. and was in cooperation with the Chesapeake Region Safety Council. According to their Facebook page, “CHS Criminal Justice Students will portray the at-fault driver and victims.”

One Patient Flown To Area Hospital After Extrication

Upon arrival, crews from Company 2, Engine 72 and Squad 3 extricated one adult male who was flown to a local trauma center.
