Ethan Darrow Inducted Into The Calvert County Fire And Rescue Association Hall Of Fame
Ethan Darrow joined the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department (PFVFD) in October 2000 as a senior member, after serving for six years at Solomon’s Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department (SVRSFD).
5k RACE: “Daring The Blaze” To Benefit PFVFD
The planning for the 6th Annual Daring the Blaze 5k is underway. The event will take place Saturday, June 25, 2022 this year in the heart of Dares Beach right in Prince Frederick, Md.
Company 2 Responds To Working House Fire In Huntingtown, Md.
Units remained on scene for an extended period of time and completed overhaul. Volunteers assisted members of the Office of the State Fire Marshal. All occupants made it out safely and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
Nominate PFVFD For Nationwide Farm Grant For Grain Rescue Equipment
The Nationwide grant goes toward the purchase of panels that ultimately make a tube around the patient and the farmer’s grain. The patient can be scooped out and the tube helps to keep the surrounding grain from closing back in on them.
