On August 15, 2021, just after 8 p.m. Squad 2 was called to St. Leonard Road and Carlyle Court for a serious accident.

Upon arrival, crews from Company 2, Engine 72 and Squad 3 extricated one adult male who was flown to a local trauma center. Chief 2-C had the extrication.

The St Leonard Volunteer Fire Department and Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department were also on the call and assisted.
