On February 24th, at 1052 hours, Company 2 was alerted for the structure fire in the area of Radio Road. Engine 22, Engine 21, Tower 2, Squad 2, Tanker 2 and Jeep 2 along with Chief 2, 2 Alpha and 2 Charlie responded and found an abandoned 1 story, single family with heavy fire throughout. 22’s crew pulled a cross lay and made the initial push into the dwelling and made a quick knock on the fire. Tower 2 and Engine 61 (Huntingtown) opened up and helped extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Company 2 operated for 2 hours.
