PFVFD Responds To Working Fire In St. Leonard

On June 8, 2019 just before 2:30 a.m. Company 2 and surrounding stations were alerted to a working house fire in the 4000 block of Turkey Foot Road.

The first arriving unit from St. Leonard went on the scene reporting heavy fire showing from the front and rear of the structure. Moments later, the engine from Company 2 went on location and immediately went to work pulling additional lines to to help extinguish the flames.

Two residents and one dog made it out safely. The Red Cross responded to help those family members. Firefighters operated on the scene for 2 1/2 hours before returning to the station.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
