PFVFD Aggressively Attacks Fire On Lloyd Bowen Road

On May 27, 2019 around 10:30 p.m. Company 2 was dispatched to the St. Leonard area for a working house fire. Engine 21, Tanker 2, Tower 2 all responded to the 2500 block of Lloyd Bowen Road where upon arrival fire was showing from a one-story home. Those flames extended into the front and middle of the house with extension to the attic area.

As the first arriving unit on the scene, the five volunteers on board Engine 21 assumed the first due engine responsibilities. A aggressive attack was made. The crew from Tower 2 went to the roof  contributing to the successful interior attack.

After extinguishing the fire on the inside of the house, crews went around back and discovered a second fire inside a mobile camper.

No injuries were reported. Units operated on the scene for more than two hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office.
