On September 12, 2019 around 8:45 p.m. Engine 21, Tower 2, Tanker 2 and Chief 2-A responded to the 4000 block of Dares Beach Road for a reported kitchen fire.

Chief 2-A arrived to find fire showing from the single-family home. Engine 21’s crew attacked the fire quickly to prevent further extension and damage to the residence.

The crew from Tower 2, Engine 6 and Squad 6 (Huntingtown) assisted with extinguishment. No one was seriously injured and the cause is under investigation.
