On May 14, 2023, Company 2 (Tower 2) responded to a high angle rescue in the 2600 block of Aster Road (Scientists Cliffs). When units arrived on location around 12:45 p.m. the animal was heard barking and about 20 feet down an approximate 100 foot cliff. A rope system was set up, and a member from PFVFD was lowered down to assist with successfully reuniting the dog with his family.
