On October 23, 2021, a crew from Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department was filling in for Company 2, when they were alerted for a brush fire on Patuxent Reach Drive.

While clearing from the call, dispatch alerted and re-routed the same crew to the 1500 block of Stinnett Road in Huntingtown for a working shed fire. Units remained on the scene for over an hour before returning to the station.
