On Friday, April 5, 2019, Engine 21, Tower 2 and Chief 2-B responded to the 11400 Block of Long Bow Court in the Chesapeake Ranch Estates for a house fire. Arriving units from Solomons Volunteer Fire Department found a fire on the back deck with extension to the exterior of the single family home.

Engine 21’s crew assisted with extinguishing the fire and Tower 2 handled the overhaul. The official cause of the fire is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshals office.
