On September 19, 2019 just after 1 a.m. Engine 21, Tower 2, Tanker 2 and Chief 2-B responded to the commercial building fire in the 10000 block of HG Trueman Road.

Volunteer departments from Calvert operated on the fireground for more than seven hours.

According to published reports, the cause of the fire was ruled accidental, due to an electrical malfunction.

No one was seriously injured.
