PFVFD Vice President Jamie Cox has not only been an active volunteer with our station for 41 years, but he has also served our community as an educator at the Calvert Career and Technology Academy for nearly three decades. Jamie retired this summer after 28 years where he devoted his time to teaching the young adults.

Jamie is one of the most talented people we know, especially when it comes to his mechanical ability. We know this is a huge void for the school to lose an automotive instructor like himself, but this decision is a big gain for his personal life. Jamie is now not only focusing on running more calls with us, and spending time with his four grandchildren, but he’s plotting out his cross country adventure with his wife Nancy.

We know he will truly miss his school, kids and colleagues.

Cheers to Jamie on all he’s given our kids and citizens in Calvert. We honestly couldn’t be more proud and grateful and we are excited for his next chapter.
