On Sunday, September 9, 2018 around 7:49 p.m. Company 2 was alerted to a serious auto accident on Dares Beach Road near Wilson Road. Shortly after the initial dispatch, Calvert County Sheriff’s Deputy’s arrived and reported one vehicle was on fire and a person was trapped.

Squad 2 arrived and began the extrication while Engine 22 stretched a protection line with water.

Two patients were evaluated and due to weather conditions were not flown. Both were transported by ground to an area hospital.
