Caitlyn Arhar Gives Farewell Speech After Serving As Miss Fire Prevention First Runner Up

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, during the annual Maryland State Firemen’s Convention in Ocean City, Caitlyn Arhar gave her farewell speech as Miss Fire Prevention First Runner Up for 2020-2022. Caitlyn has many incredible talents, including her voice. She was asked to sing the National Anthem during Sunday’s memorial service.

Caitlyn said this about serving the State of Maryland over the last couple of years, “This position has presented so many opportunities I would not have had otherwise. I want to thank my parents, Mark and Mary Ann Arhar, for supporting and pushing me to be my best.”

In addition, Caitlyn would like to recognize PFVFD President Patrick Hassler, Past PFVFD Chief’s Timothy Delehanty and Joe Della-Camera and current PFVFD Chief Willie Gray for their guidance and support over this period.
Caitlyn is a graduate from Towson University with a BS in Health Sciences (as of December 2021).
