N Solomons Island and Main

December 20, 2015 - At 1731 hours, Company 2 was alerted to Rescue Box 2-11 for a personal injury accident. Squad 2, Engine 22, Chief 2C, and Chief 2A responded to N Solomons Island Rd and Main St. Units arrived to find a two vehicle accident with one on its side. Crews went to work extricating one trapped. The patient was extricated and transported for a check-up. Company 2 operated for one hour.
 

 

Santa Run 2015

December 18, 2015 - This week, the Prince Frederick Volunteers traveled through our Local Alarm area with Santa Claus to visit our neighborhoods. The Santa Run was a huge success and well received. Thanks to everyone that helped make this possible. Merry Christmas!

Annual Christmas Party

December 14, 2015 - On Saturday, the Prince Frederick Volunteers held our annual Christmas Party for the members. After a great dinner, a special visitor came by the firehouse to visit all of the children.

A New Addition

December 14, 2015 - Congratulations to Technician Sewell and wife Michelle on the birth Landon Richard, who was born at 9:02, weighed 11lbs. 2oz., and 24in. long. Everyone is doing fine.
 

 

Toys for Children

December 12, 2015 - On Saturday, the Prince Frederick Volunteers escorted "The Mopars" from the firehouse to the Solomons Bridge. The Bay District Volunteers continue to escort from the Solomons Bridge to Lexington Park. Once at the final destination hundreds of toys are presented to the Toys for Children organization to be given to children throughout the area. This is the seventh year that Company 2 has been a part of the program.
 

 

W David Gott LODD

December 9, 2015 - Twenty-seven years ago today, we lost brother Warren David Gott in our second Line of Duty Death. On December 9, 1988, Captain Gott was returning home from a call when he was involved in an accident which ultimately claimed his life. We will never forget you David!
 

 

Calvert County Christmas Parade

December 6, 2015 - On Sunday, the Prince Frederick Volunteers attended the annual Calvert County Christmas Parade held at the Fox Run Shopping Center. Thanks to the Calvert County Fair Board and the Calvert Optimist Club for another great parade.
