12, 2009 - On Saturday, the Prince Frederick Volunteers
attended the toy program that is put on
every year by the United States Marine Corps. The Mopars, a
Car Club in Southern Maryland, sponsored a toy collection
point in Prince Frederick. About 30 cars from the club
assembled at the Prince Frederick Fire Department with the
toys that were collect. B2, E21 and TL2 escorted the parade of
cars to the Thomas Johnson Bridge. The Volunteers of Bay
District Fire Department took over the escort from the bridge
and the parade ended at Park Dodge in Lexington Park. The
Marines that host the even were standing by awaiting the toys
that were collected.
