Annual SoMdVFA Convention |

3, 2009 - On Saturday, the 65th Annual Southern Maryland
Volunteer Firemen's Association dinner was held at
Hughesville VFD. Vernon Horsmon Sr and Warren Gott were
recognized for 50 plus years of service and Mike Bowen was
inducted into the Hall of Fame. On Sunday, the parade and
games were held. E21, TL2, Tnk2, Car2 and Brush2 attended
the parade. The Prince Frederick Volunteers brought home
Best Appearing Engine 1500gpm, Second Best Appearing Aerial
and Third Best Appearing Brush. |
