16, 2009 - At 0937 hours, the Prince Frederick Volunteers
were alerted to Box 2-11 for smoke. E21, TL2, RS2, C2A and
C2C responded to the 100 block of Solomons Island Road North
at the Walmart. E21 arrived on side Alpha of a one story
commercial with nothing showing. The Engine found a light
haze upon entering the building an began evacuating the
same. The Tower crew went to the roof and found a HVAC
system on fire and quickly secured the power as the Engine
crew extinguished the fire. Command held Company 2 units for
ventilation for 30 minutes.
