23, 2008 - At 1351 hours, Company 2 was alerted to Box 2-11
for a building. E21, TL2 and RS2 responded to the unit block
of Sherry Lane. E21 arrived on the Alpha, Delta corner and
picked up their own hydrant and connection, with nothing
showing from a four story hotel. Company 2 units
investigated and found an odor of smoke. The cause was found
to be an over heated motor in the elevator shaft with no
extension. The smoked was removed and Company 2 units
cleared in 40 minutes.
