15, 2008 - At 1220 hours, Company 2 was alerted to Box 2-11
for a diesel fuel leak. E21, TL2 and E22 responded to the
100 block of Hallowing Point Road. Chief 2 established as
units arrived to find a fuel pump leak and one patient. A
worker who was doing maintenance on the fuel pump became
dowsed with fuel as the pump flowed out 30 gallons of diesel
onto the ground. The patient refused medical attention as
the leak was quickly contained by onsite equipment. Command
held the Box with Company 2 units as they operated for 20
minutes.
