4, 2008 - At 1204 hours, the Prince Frederick Volunteers and
surrounding companies were alerted to Box 2-11 for an
apartment. E21(Lt Scott), T2(Capt Sharpe), RS2(FF A
Billings), FC Scott and AFC D'Agostino responded to the 300
block of Fairground Road. Chief 2 arrived and established
Command with a two story multi-family apartment building
with smoke showing from the second floor. E21 ran a line to
the second floor apartment and found a fire in the kitchen
with extension to the living room and attic. T2 threw ground
ladders, opened up and performed a primary search with
negative results. RS2 arrived and controlled the utilities.
Command held Company 2 and 6 for overhaul after a quick
knock was placed on the fire. Company 2 units operated for
90 minutes. Photos by dchookedonphotography.
