Chesapeake Beach houses

8-13-07 At 1824 hours, units were alerted to Box 1-05 for a townhouse fire. Engine 21(DFC Howes), Tower 2(Sgt Scott) and AFC D'Agostino responded to the 7700 block of C Street in Chesapeake Beach. Units arrived on the scene to find two, two story single families with fire showing. Chief 1(Freesland) established command and called for a working fire dispatch and a second alarm bringing units from four counties to assist. Engine 21 arrived on side Charlie and stretched the 400' over a 6’ fence, around a townhouse complex and into side Alpha of exposure Delta and put a knock on the second house fire. Tower 2 arrived and assisted Tower 1 and Squad 5 with opening up and securing the utilities. Chief 2B was the exposure D leader, Chief 2A had staging. Tanker 2(Thomas) transferred to Station 6. Company 2 units cleared in just under three hours after overhaul.  Box Alarm - E1, E5, E6, E2, T1, T2, RS5  WFD - E6, E42, E9, R1  2nd Alarm - E41, E83, E7, T42, RS20
