2-15-07 At 1803 hours, the Prince Frederick
Volunteers and surrounding departments were alerted to Box
5-01 for a house. Tower 2(Lt Dalrymple) and Tanker 2(FF
Braswell) responded to the 1400 block of Georgianna Lane in
Owings. Units arrived on the scene of a one story single
family with fire showing. A fire was found in the basement as
Tower 2 arrived, starting venting and checking for extension.
The Working Fire Dispatch was transmitted bring Engine 21(Capt
Bowen) as extension was found on the first floor. Units made
quick work of the fire and the WFD was returned. Engine 21
stood-by at Company 5 while units operated. Company 2 units
cleared in 2 hours after an investigation and overhaul was
completed.
