28, 2008 - Early Sunday morning, Trooper 2 was transporting
two patients from an accident in Waldorf when the helicopter
disappeared from radar and communication was lost. After a
search by Prince George's County agencies, the helicopter
was found in Walker Mill Park. Sadly, Pilot Stephen Bunker,
Trooper Paramedic Mickey Lippi, EMT Tonya Mallard and
patient Ashley Younger succumbed to their injuries. The
second patient, Jordan Wells is in critical condition. The
PFVFD would like to send our condolences to the family and
friends of those involved. The funeral arrangements are as
follows:
