Trooper 2 accident in PG

September 28, 2008 - Early Sunday morning, Trooper 2 was transporting two patients from an accident in Waldorf when the helicopter disappeared from radar and communication was lost. After a search by Prince George's County agencies, the helicopter was found in Walker Mill Park. Sadly, Pilot Stephen Bunker, Trooper Paramedic Mickey Lippi, EMT Tonya Mallard and patient Ashley Younger succumbed to their injuries. The second patient, Jordan Wells is in critical condition. The PFVFD would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of those involved. The funeral arrangements are as follows:

A viewing for will by held on Thursday October 2nd from 14:00-20:00 at the Gamber Volunteer Fire Department in Carroll County .

Funeral Services will be held Friday October 3rd at 11:00 at the Gamber Volunteer Fire Department in Carroll County . Internment will immediately follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens located at 200 East Padonia Rd in Timonium , MD ( Baltimore County ).

 

Pilot Steve Bunker

A viewing will be held on Friday October 3rd from 14:00-20:00 at the South Potomac Church in White Plains , MD ( Charles County ).

Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 4th at 11:00 at the South Potomac Church in White Plains , MD ( Charles County ). Internment will immediately follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland , MD ( Prince George ’s County).

 

EMT Tanya Mallard

A viewing will be held on Friday October 3rd from 15:00-17:00 and 19:00-21:00 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church located at 3150 Middletown Rd in Waldorf , MD ( Charles County ).

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 4th at 09:00 at the North Point High School located at 2500 Davis Rd in Waldorf , MD ( Charles County ). Internment will immediately follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens located at 200 East Padonia Rd in Timonium , MD ( Baltimore County ).
