4, 2008 - At 0900 hours, the members of PFVFD gathered to
put the final touches on the apparatus for the Southern
Maryland Parade. Cmd2, Car2, J2, B2, E21, E22, TL2 and Tnk2
then proceeded to St Leonard where the convention was being
held this year. The parade started at 1230 hours with most
Southern Maryland units attending. Games were held in the
rear of Company 7 immediately following the parade. Prince
Frederick received the following trophies and awards at the
day's end:
Best
Appearing Company Overall, 2nd Best Appearing Platform, 2nd
Best Appearing Tanker, 2nd Best Appearing Brush Unit and 1st
Place in the Battle of the Bucket. Thanks to all of the
members who spent time cleaning the apparatus and
participated in the parade. Special thanks to St Leonard for
a great convention. Sadly, this will be E21's last parade as
it will be leaving for it's new home tomorrow. |
