9-17-07 At 2026 hours, Rescue Squad 2 was
alerted to Box 2-13 for a personal injury accident. Squad 2(Lt
Sharpe) and Engine 22(DFC Delehanty) responded to Dares Beach
Road and Chesapeake Ave. Units arrived to find two cars with
one trapped. Lieutenant 2 established the 2-13 command while
the Squad crew removed the rear door and the "B"
post on the driver's side to gain access to the patient. The
Squad crew removed and packaged the patient, then turned her
over to EMS. The patient was flown to PG's Trauma Center for
further evaluation. Company 2 units cleared in 20 minutes.
