7-28-07 At 1115 hours, the St Leonard Volunteer
were alerted for an unknown medical in the 1700 block of Ball
Road. Units arrived to find an injured person on the second
floor of a garage, pinned under multiple trusses after they
collapsed. Tower 2 was added to the call to assist with
removing the patient from the second floor. The Tower crew
placed the patient in a stokes basket and placed ground
ladders to remove the patient. The patient was removed and
turned over to awaiting EMS, where he was transported to CMH
for a check-up. Tower 2 cleared shortly after.
