| 6-5-07 At 1102 hours, the Prince Frederick
Volunteers and surrounding departments were alerted to
Water Rescue Box 2-05 for a drowning. Squad 2(FF Della-Camera)
and Engine 22(Lt Sewell) responded to the Hallowing Point boat
ramp. Units arrived to find bystanders reporting a man had
jumped in the water and never came back up. Firefighter
Della-Camera established the Hallowing Point Command as units
interviewed witnesses and initiated a land based search. Dive
Units and Rescue Boats arrived and expanded the search
efforts. After two hours the scene was turned over to the
Calvert Investigative Team to start recovery efforts. Company
2 units cleared in four hours. Water Rescue Box - Calvert RS2,
A4, Boat 4, Medic 104, Dive Team, Charles A83, Boat 83, 8, St.
Mary's Boat 5, Coast Guard, DNR, CCSD, MSP, Trooper 2 |
