1-11-07 On Thursday, the Prince Frederick
Volunteer Fire Department conducted community service training
with the Day Care providers of Calvert County.42 Day care providers assembled at the station to
receive instruction on the safe and proper usage of portable
fire extinguishers. The training curriculum included a
classroom session which reviewed appropriate techniques. A
practical scenario was then conducted so that all could gain
valuable “hands on” experience with portable fire
extinguishers. The Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department conducts
countless hours of Fire Prevention and Education annually. If
you are interested in receiving fire extinguisher training
please contact Deputy Chief Tim Delehanty at 410-535-2207.
