On Monday, December 25, 2023 at 11:13 a.m. the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department (PFVFD) was alerted to a reported house fire in the 2900 block of Honey Cove Court in Prince Frederick, Md.
Tommy was a pioneer in the fire service for all of Calvert County. In fact, Tommy was not only the first Fire Chief of Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department, but he was a founding and life member of station 6 as well.
We will always honor and remember the fallen heroes and the many lives lost.
Crews from Prince Frederick (Company 2), St. Leonard (Company 7), Huntingtown (Company 6), Solomons (Company 3) Dunkirk (Company 5), Mechanicsville VFD and Hollywood VFD, worked through the night opening the walls and extinguishing hotspot areas inside.
Both were cadets in recruit class 54 and are now probationary firefighters.
